The best AI front desk tool for a hotel depends on one question first: does it need to answer the phone? Of the nine tools below, Osvi, Canary, HelloShift and Akia sell AI phone answering, and HiJiffy lists voice on one plan. Asksuite, Quinta, Duve and Bookboost focus on chat and messaging. After that, compare which PMS each connects to, which channels it covers and how it charges, because published prices run from about $60 to $600 a month before you add calls.
We make Osvi, so treat our entry with that in mind. For every tool, including ours, we used only what the vendor publishes on its own website, read in October 2026. Where a vendor doesn't publish a price, we say so. If you want background first, read what an AI receptionist for hotels can and can't do and AI receptionist vs hotel chatbot.

Where Osvi is different
We built Osvi for the work a front desk does, so the comparison above leaves out what matters most when you run it every day.
One AI agent on every channel, including the phone. Of the nine tools, Osvi is the only one whose pages list AI phone answering alongside WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, website chat and email. The same agent answers on each, with one guest history, so a guest who calls, then messages, gets the same answer and your team sees one record.
AI-native, not a chatbot added to an inbox. Osvi's agents do the work: they quote from live rates, create the reservation, send the payment link, check guests in, open requests for your teams and follow up until the guest pays. Osvi logs every conversation, decision and system call for your team to review, and on Enterprise, Osvi Evals tests each change to an agent against recorded scenarios before it ships.
An agentic inbox your staff can step into. Agents work the conversations in one inbox. Your team sees each one with the booking attached, takes over when a guest needs a person and hands it back when they're done. Contacts, campaigns and reports sit in the same place, so pre-arrival, review and return-stay messages run from the reservation without another tool.
Transparent pricing. Osvi publishes its hotel plans, setup fees and per-minute call rates, in USD, GBP, EUR and INR. Starter, Pro and Premium cost $59, $129 and $309 per property a month, billed yearly, which is $50 less than HiJiffy's matching plans, and the setup fees are $50 lower too. Canary, Asksuite and Akia don't publish prices at all.
Integrations that write back. Osvi reads and writes to Cloudbeds, Apaleo, Mews and Oracle OPERA: availability and rates in, bookings and check-in details out. It also connects to booking engines, payment gateways, telephony providers and your own APIs, and it can provide US phone numbers.
Modular as you grow. Start with website chat, add WhatsApp and the AI receptionist, then add Journey, Conductor and Evals on Enterprise when you run a group of properties.
Osvi
Osvi runs AI agents for hotels, resorts and hostels on the phone, WhatsApp, website chat, Instagram, Messenger and email, in more than 50 languages. The agents quote from live rates, take bookings with a payment link, check guests in before arrival, route in-stay requests to staff and send review and return-stay messages.
Hotel plans cost $59 (website chat), $129 (adds social and email) and $309 (adds WhatsApp, PMS integration and online check-in) per property a month, billed yearly, plus a one-time setup fee from $59. The AI voice receptionist is added to any plan from $0.053 a minute.
Fits: independent hotels, resorts, hostel groups and chains that want one agent on the phone and on messaging, with published prices.
Canary Technologies
Canary sells AI Voice, AI Guest Messaging, AI Webchat and an AI Agent Studio. It doesn't publish prices. In December 2025, Wyndham announced it would roll Canary's AI voice out to about 8,300 hotels after a 700-hotel pilot.
Fits: branded and franchised hotels, and hotels already using other Canary products.
HelloShift
HelloShift prices per room per month with a 40-room minimum. AI voice comes with two plans: Guest+ at $2.50 per room billed yearly ($3.50 monthly) and Pro at $4.00 ($5.60 monthly). Telephony beyond the included allowance is passed through at cost, and the page doesn't state the allowance. It lists integrations with Opera, Cloudbeds, roomMaster, SkyWare, Little Hotelier and WebRezPro.
Fits: US independent hotels on those PMS that want per-room pricing.
Akia
Akia publishes its plans without prices. AI voice with call transfer is part of the top plan, Max. Messaging covers SMS, WhatsApp, web chat, email and OTA messages.
Fits: hotels that rely on SMS with US guests and want voice on the same platform.
HiJiffy
HiJiffy publishes three plans: Basic from $109 a month, Pro from $179 and Premium from $359, with setup fees of $109, $449 and $699. Basic covers web chat. Pro adds social and messaging channels and lists "voice and text". WhatsApp and PMS integration come with Premium. Prices rise with the number of rooms.
Fits: hotels and groups that want a chat-first platform with a guest messaging console.
Asksuite
Asksuite runs an AI agent, Sophia, on WhatsApp, web chat, Instagram, Messenger and email. It says it works with more than 5,500 hotels, connects to more than 400 booking engines and speaks more than 50 languages. We didn't find an AI phone-answering product, and prices aren't published.
Fits: hotels whose direct bookings start in chat or on social media.
Quinta (formerly Quicktext)
Quicktext now trades as Quinta. Its assistant, Velma, answers on live chat, Facebook and WhatsApp. The pricing page says plans start at $599 a month without listing what that includes. Voice isn't mentioned.
Fits: larger properties that want a managed chat assistant and can budget for it.
Duve
Duve is a guest experience platform with a minimum of $120 (Basic), $150 (Pro) or $200 (Premium) a month. WhatsApp and SMS cost extra. It doesn't offer AI phone answering.
Fits: hotels that mainly want online check-in and a guest app, with messaging around them.
Bookboost
Bookboost prices modules per room, in euros, with a €399 monthly minimum. Its AI agent, Bee, includes 150 resolved conversations, and the price after that isn't published. It covers WhatsApp and SMS, not voice, and lists more than 80 PMS integrations.
Fits: hotels that budget in euros and want guest data and campaigns with an AI inbox on top.
What to check before you choose
Run a test call and a test chat on your own inventory. Ask for tonight's rate, change the dates halfway through and ask to speak to a person. A demo on someone else's hotel won't show you how the agent handles your rules.
Check the PMS connection both ways. Reading availability is common. Writing the booking, check-in details or a request back to your PMS is what saves your staff time.
Do the pricing maths on your own volume. Count a week of calls and messages, then price each tool. Our cost breakdown for AI receptionists has worked examples for a 60-room hotel and a 200-room resort.
Ask how the handoff works at night. Find out who gets the urgent call at 2am, and what the guest hears while they wait.
Ask about disclosure and recording. The agent should say it's an AI and that the call is recorded. Check the consent rules for each state or country you take calls from.
