How Osvi and Whistle differ

Whistle is now part of Cloudbeds

Cloudbeds announced it had bought Whistle in June 2022. The product is now Cloudbeds Guest Experience, sold in Cloudbeds' Experience plan, and trywhistle.com sends visitors to Cloudbeds.

That makes it a module of the Cloudbeds platform, tied to the Cloudbeds PMS. Osvi is a set of AI agents that connect to any major PMS, Cloudbeds included.

Osvi answers the phone with its own AI

Osvi's AI receptionist answers your phone line with the same knowledge and guest history as your chat. It quotes live rates, takes the reservation and sends the payment link on WhatsApp during the call, from $0.053 a minute.

The Guest Experience page doesn't include a voice agent. Cloudbeds hotels answer calls through external voice partners.

Osvi books inside the conversation

Osvi's agents quote availability and rates from your PMS, create the reservation and send the payment link in the same conversation, then follow up if the guest doesn't pay.

Cloudbeds' AI agent answers questions from your website, listings and house rules and hands off to staff. Its pages don't describe it quoting live rates or booking inside the chat.

Osvi works alongside Cloudbeds

Osvi connects to the Cloudbeds API to read availability and rates and create reservations, so a Cloudbeds hotel can add Osvi for calls and in-chat bookings. See Osvi and Cloudbeds.

What a hotel pays

Osvi's hotel plans cost $59, $129 and $309 a month on yearly billing, each covering up to 5 rooms, plus a one-time setup fee of $59, $399 or $649. We price larger properties by room count. WhatsApp and the PMS connection come with Premium, and the phone receptionist is added to any plan from $0.053 a minute.

Cloudbeds publishes no prices. Its Flex, One and Experience plans each say "Request a quote", and Guest Experience sits in Experience.
